About these names. “Grand Davis Island” and “Little Davis Island” are ceremonial names used by the Davis Islands micronation. They are not official geographic designations. The islands’ official name is the Chimney Sweeps Islands.

Getting oriented

Between City Island and Orchard Beach

The islets lie in the northern part of City Island Harbor. Together with High Island, they separate the harbour from Pelham Bay, within sight of Orchard Beach and Rodman’s Neck.

The islands are part of Pelham Bay Park and can only be reached by water.
