Ceremonial Government
The Davis Islands is governed in ceremony only. Its offices are honorary, carry no legal authority, and exist to celebrate the islands’ traditions.

How the ceremonial government is arranged
The ceremonial government of the Davis Islands is set out in its Founding Charter. It is deliberately simple:
- The Honorary Governor-General — the ceremonial head of the Davis Islands, presiding over proclamations and flag ceremonies.
